BR Waldon is a writer and photographer based in Tucson, Arizona.

His areas of interest include cultural and religious art; nature; indigenous traditions and ceremonies; the Arizona-Sonora border region; Mexico and the American Southwest.

BR started learning photography, darkroom techniques, and two-dimensional art and composition in 1980. As he progressed in a career in the medical device industry he continued to learn about and practice photography, eventually advancing from film to digital images.

Now working as a consultant, BR is able to devote more time to his love of photography.
